ABOUT
Giuliana Sarto is a private chef currently based in Miami Beach, FL. Before becoming a chef, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies at Cal Poly Humboldt in Northern California.
Post college, she embarked on her culinary career in Los Angeles - a dream of her’s since a young age. She instantly fell in love with the pace of working in restaurants and being able to create in the kitchen. She’s worked at Kismet, Eszett, and Café Triste to name a few establishments. Shopping at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market for some of these restaurants she’s worked at and for her own private clients has influenced her to cook seasonally and create market inspired menus.
In the Spring of 2023, Giuliana took a small break from restaurant life to travel and work on small organic farms throughout Italy in an effort to connect with the land and food in a holistic way. The following year, she received an incredible opportunity to attend the MAD Academy in Copenhagen under scholarship for their Environment + Sustainability course. These experiences have continued to feed Giuliana’s interest of bridging food and sustainability together as she seeks to reduce waste in her own cooking.
